For children ages 2.5 to 3.5 years

At Day Nursery, our Pre-K Prep Program provides a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 2.5 to 3.5. Through intentional play, guided discovery, and nurturing relationships, children build the foundation for future academic and social success.

We proudly use a research-based early childhood curriculum that supports holistic development across key domains—language, motor skills, cognitive growth, and social-emotional learning. Our curriculum is aligned with best practices in early education and thoughtfully designed to meet children where they are while preparing them for the transition to preschool.

At this age, children are naturally curious and eager to gain independence. As they refine their gross motor skills, they are constantly moving—walking, running, climbing—and our safe, well-organized spaces encourage active exploration. Teachers foster self-confidence by supporting new personal care routines like drinking from a cup, using utensils, and dressing independently.

Language development accelerates through conversation, storytelling, and play-based activities that expand vocabulary and comprehension. Imaginative play is also a key focus, allowing children to model behavior, explore roles, and develop early problem-solving skills. Our classrooms provide rich opportunities for both individual exploration and small group engagement, helping children practice communication, cooperation, and empathy.

With caring guidance from skilled educators and a curriculum rooted in child development research, our Pre-K Prep learners thrive in a space where learning is joyful, meaningful, and tailored to their unique pace of growth.
